Robert Parker: "From ungrafted vines in several plots, the 2024 Wolfer Goldgrube Riesling Kabinett "wurzelecht" was picked the same day as the regular Kabinett. Complex on the nose and palate, this is a lush yet filigreed, saline and precise Kabinett with sensual fruit and highly delicate, saline acidity. This is beautifully detailed, crystalline and saline and perfectly balanced. It is one of the finest Kabinett Riesling in the whole Mosel Valley. It's fabulous. 8% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in March 2026."

James Suckling: "Welcome to the ice age of riesling. This diamond-bright Mosel Kabinett is very focused on the light-bodied, cool and crystalline palate, with a dense slate character. Barely off-dry with incredible wet-stone intensity in the tightly wound finish. From organically grown grapes. Ancient ungrafted vines. Drinkable now but best from 2026."
